Daily SPF 30 Plus has a light-to-medium weight feel with a slightly dewy finish and works for all skin tones without a cast—great for normal to dry skin. Brilliant Defense SPF 50 is lighter, more radiant, and offers stronger UV protection with a true dewy glow. If you want brighter, more luminous skin with added hydration and anti-discoloration benefits, Brilliant Defense is the more elevated option. If you want something dewy but more basic and budget-friendly, SPF 30 Plus works well.
It depends on your skin type. Brilliant Defense is hydrating on its own, and many normal-to-dry clients feel comfortable using it as both their moisturizer and SPF. If your skin is very dry or you’re using actives that increase dryness, you may want a lightweight moisturizer (Barrier Gel cream) underneath for added support.
