Intellishade Original uses a hybrid of mineral and chemical filters. Intellishade TruPhysical uses only titanium dioxide and zinc oxide with zero chemical sunscreen ingredients, making it the right choice for sensitive, reactive, rosacea-prone, and post-procedure skin, or for anyone who simply prefers a 100% mineral formula.

Will a 100% mineral SPF leave a white cast?

TruPhysical is formulated to minimize the white cast associated with high-concentration mineral formulas. The sheer mineral tint, boron nitride, and iron oxides help the formula blend transparently across a wide range of skin tones. Very deep skin tones may find the tint slightly light but for most skin tones the formula blends naturally without leaving a white or gray residue.

Do I still need a separate moisturizer with TruPhysical?

If your skin is very dry or you are using drying actives like retinoids, applying a moisturizer underneath first provides additional support. If you are specifically targeting significant hyperpigmentation or melasma, a dedicated vitamin C serum applied underneath will deliver a higher concentration. For most clients using TruPhysical daily, a separate vitamin C is optional rather than essential.

How to Use Intellishade TruPhysical SPF 45

Apply evenly to the face and neck as the final step of your morning routine after serums and moisturizer. Wear alone for a natural polished finish or under makeup for added coverage. Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every two hours when outdoors. This formula is not water resistant so reapply immediately after swimming or heavy perspiration.
