Frequently Asked Questions
Who should use Retinol Peptide Serum?
It’s ideal for acne-prone, aging, or sun-damaged skin that’s already comfortable with milder retinoids. If your skin has tolerated products like Retinal B3 Serum or mandelic acid, this can be your next progression.
What are the main benefits?
It helps reduce breakouts, smooth texture, fade dark spots, firm the skin, and reduce the appearance of fine lines. The added peptides offer support for skin elasticity and collagen health.
What’s the difference between Retinal B3 Serum and Retinal Peptide Serum?
Retinal B3 is the best place to start — I recommend sticking with it for 2–3 bottles to let your skin build tolerance while improving acne, oil control, and pigmentation. Retinal Peptide Serum is a more advanced option with added peptides for firmer, smoother skin and stronger anti-aging benefits. Most of my clients graduate to Peptide Serum once they’re comfortable with Retinal B3.
Can I use this with other actives like Acne Med or exfoliants?
Yes, but it’s best to rotate your actives to avoid overdoing it. Use Retinal B3 Serum on alternate nights from benzoyl peroxide or mandelic acid. Supporting hydration with products like HydraBalance or HydraRemedy is key when using this serum regularly.
Will it make my skin purge or peel?
Some users experience mild purging or dryness in the early weeks, especially if they increase frequency too quickly. The microencapsulated formula helps reduce this, but it's still important to go slow and moisturize well.

How to Use Retinol Peptide Serum
Apply 1 pump evenly over clean skin or the affected area. Start 2–3 times per week, then gradually work up to nightly use as your skin builds tolerance. Follow with a moisturizer, or layer HydraBalance underneath for extra hydration.
