BioRePeel

BioRePeel is built for pigment: melasma, post-acne marks and uneven tone. It also helps with acne and early signs of aging. It combines a 30% peel with biphasic technology that keeps water from evaporating from your skin, so you get the results of a strong peel without drying your skin out. Most people have little to no downtime, and at most some mild flaking. It is one of our clients' favorites.

Who it is for

Melasma, post-acne marks and uneven tone. It also helps with acne, congestion and early signs of aging, and you can choose the option with lighter extractions if you have clogged pores.

Who it is not for

Very sensitive skin, or anyone without a hydrating, barrier repair routine at home, because your skin needs that support between sessions. If aging is your main concern along with pigment, the Factor Five Peel is a better fit.

What happens at your appointment

  1. 1

    A real consultation

Every visit starts with a conversation: how your skin has been, what you are using now and what you want from today. Your first visit also includes a skin imaging analysis.

  2. 2

    The peel

A 30% peel with biphasic technology that helps your skin hold on to its own hydration while it works, which is why most people see little to no peeling afterwards. Mild flaking can happen. If you have clogged pores, you can choose the option with lighter extractions.

  3. 3

A plan for your skin at home

We build a hydrating, barrier repair routine with you, because about 80% of your results come from what you do at home. For melasma, a weekly series works best, and every two weeks also works.

Good to know before you come in

  • For five to seven days before your peel, stop retinoids and benzoyl peroxide.
  • Before and after your peel, avoid laser, facial waxing or other hair removal, and anything else that sensitizes your skin.
  • BioRePeel is not suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
  • After your peel, be very gentle with your skin. We will build your aftercare routine with you.
  • Melasma can be managed with the right care, and it can return through hot summers or hot activities, because heat darkens it too, even with daily sunscreen.

Common questions

Will I peel afterwards?

Most people have little to no peeling, because the formula helps your skin hold on to its own hydration while it works. Mild flaking can happen. Most clients go about their day as usual afterwards.

How many sessions will I need?

Melasma can be managed, not cured. A weekly series works best, and every two weeks also works. Weekly sessions with a good home routine show results faster. Many of our clients come in for several sessions after the summer, then maintain at home until the end of the next summer, and come back now and then if there is a flare up.

About 80% of your results come from what you do at home. We will talk through a home routine to manage your melasma with you, so it does not come back as quickly. Our goal is to help you build a routine so you need us less over time.

Do I need to tip?

No. We do not accept tips at LAZ Skincare. The price you see when you book is the price you pay.
