“Exfol-A Forte is the stronger step in the Vivant vitamin A system and Allantoin is the light, weightless hydration that pairs with it. Together you get powerful renewal with skin that stays soft and comfortable.”

Exfol-A Forté
"I’ve seen incredible results with Vivant Skincare Exfol-A Forte for clients dealing with very persistent acne and stubborn pigmentation. It’s the stronger step in the Vivant vitamin A system, so I only recommend it after someone has already adjusted to Exfol-A. Most people do great with Exfol-A alone, but Forte can make a big difference when the skin needs that extra push."

“HydraRemedy supports the barrier and helps fade the red marks acne leaves behind while Exfol-A Forte does the renewing. Together they take on clarity and skin health at the same time.”

Kojic acid blocks the pigment enzyme by taking away the copper it needs, which makes it a strong partner for arbutin. Here is how to use it and why one percent is the number.

Glycolic acid is the smallest exfoliating acid, so it reaches deepest and does the most for texture, tone and fine lines. Here is how to use it without overdoing it.

Salicylic acid dissolves in oil, so it gets inside pores where other acids cannot. Here is why that clears blackheads and congestion, and how to use it without drying yourself out.

Retinoids build collagen, clear pores and fade pigment, with decades of research behind them. Here is how to read the labels and how to start without giving up in week three.

Lactic acid exfoliates and hydrates at the same time, which makes it the AHA for dry and easily irritated skin. Here is how it compares to glycolic and how to use it.
This treatment is best for individuals with oily, thicker, or more resistant skin who are already comfortable using vitamin A products. It works best for clients who have already acclimated to earlier retinoid steps in the Vivant system, typically those who have finished at least two bottles of Vivant Skincare Exfol-A before moving up to this stronger formula.
Both products address the same concerns, acne, texture, pigmentation, and signs of aging. The main difference is the retinoid strength. Exfol-A contains 0.25% vitamin A, while Exfol-A Forte contains 0.5%, making it the stronger option. Because these are strong products, it’s best to build up gradually: most routines start with Derm-A-Gel, then move to Exfol-A, and eventually Exfol-A Forte. It is recommended to finish about two bottles of each step before moving to the next so the skin has time to adjust. In many cases, Exfol-A is already strong enough, and Exfol-A Forte is only needed if additional strength is required.
It can help improve acne, uneven texture, sun damage, and discoloration. The combination of retinoids and exfoliating acids helps encourage consistent cell turnover, which supports smoother skin and clearer pores over time.
Yes. It is often used on thicker skin areas such as the back, chest, arms, and backs of hands where sun damage, rough texture, or breakouts may occur.
Yes. Because it is a stronger renewal treatment, some dryness or mild peeling may occur as the skin adjusts. It is generally recommended for skin that has already built tolerance to retinoids to help maintain comfort and reduce irritation during use.
